Phrasal verb: mull over

To mull over something (or mull something over) is to think very carefully about something over a period of time – usually before making a decision.

Examples of use:

1. I'll mull over your ideas and let you know my decision tomorrow.

2. I need to mull things over for a few days before I decide whether to move to America.

3. Don't force him to buy the car today. He needs time to mull it over first.

4. Do you want the job, or not? You've been mulling it over for a week. I need your answer today.

5. I've mulled it over and yes, I would like to work with you.
